Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will support our customer’s application and the environment in the following way:

• Conforming to best practices in network administration and cybersecurity
• Develop fault-tolerant, highly available, and self-healing platforms hosted with AWS
• Managing and scaling cloud infrastructure
• Performing peer reviews to ensure code quality
• Ensuring continuous deployment pipeline runs reliably
• Managing and triaging requirements from engineering
• Contributing to and updating documentation

Skills and Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking for a capable software engineer with high-performance computing (HPC) experience. You will contribute to open source projects and maintain and support our commercial products.

• Work with other team members and the open-source community to design, and develop core features (MUST)
• Take shared responsibility for the maintenance and release of open source and our product
• Contribute to user support, particularly where in-depth HPC knowledge is required to diagnose and resolve reported issues
• Keep abreast of developments and security issues in the container and HPC fields.
• Take part in open-source community meetings and engage in online discussions.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development and deployment.
• Experienced systems-level software development in the development of HPC applications MUST
• Experience with Golang
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with a willingness to work on complex customer support issues.
• Firm grasp of Linux concepts such as file-systems, package management, and basic networking.
• Strong understanding of container technologies from a user perspective.
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to HPC environments and tooling (batch schedulers, MPI, etc.) as a power-user or administrator.
• Experience programming in the Go language.
• Experience with automation and CI/CD platforms including Ansible, Terraform, CircleCI or similar tools.
• Experience using GPUs with scientific / machine learning applications.
