Senior Frontend Developer, About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Systems Administrator to join Sonatafy full-time. This role focuses on administering the IT department’s operations and systems, with additional responsibility for providing support when needed. You will be responsible for managing onboarding/offboarding, hardware and software assets, MDM, user accounts, and SaaS platforms that keep our distributed teams productive.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and organized. They have a solid IT foundation and can balance administration tasks with occasional hands-on support in a remote-first environment.

Senior Frontend Developer Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize web, iOS, and Android applications.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across multiple platforms in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, QA, mobile) to deliver features and fixes efficiently.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) to accelerate learning, troubleshooting, and delivery.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and contribute to improving system design and architecture.
Provide support in both frontend (Angular, Capacitor, Java, Swift) and backend tasks (Node.js).
Ensure proper integration with databases and contribute to backend data handling as needed.

Senior Frontend Developer Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in application development in production environments.
Strong and current experience with Angular (must have).
Experience with Capacitor and Ionic (must have).
Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
Familiarity with SASS (1–2 years minimum).
Experience using Git for version control.
Prior experience working with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Backend development experience with Node.js.
Proven ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments and quickly ramp up on complex applications.
Demonstrated usage of AI development tools to improve productivity and learning.

Senior Frontend Developer Nice-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
Prior experience working on full-stack projects across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
Knowledge of Java (for Android development).
Knowledge of Swift (for iOS development).
