Vice President of Engineering, Our requirements are simple:

Vice President of Engineering Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture:
  • Architect scalable, secure, high-performing cloud and mobile solutions tailored to clients’ business needs.
• Technical Leadership:
  • Act as the lead programmer on multiple client engagements, providing mentorship to development teams and ensuring the delivery of exceptional code quality.
• Managed Project Practice Launch:
  • Establish and lead a Managed Project Practice leveraging a blended team of highly skilled U.S. and LATAM-based developers.
  • Define project workflows, ensure consistent delivery standards, and maintain alignment with client expectations.
• U.S.-Based Developer Initiative:
  • Launch and manage the hiring strategy for U.S.-based developers, expanding Sonatafy’s talent pool to meet evolving client demands.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals, including sales, product management, and client success.
• Innovation & Best Practices:
  • Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends in software development, cloud computing, and mobile technologies. Advocate for and implement best practices across all engineering teams.
• Client Engagement:
  • Serve as a technical thought leader in client meetings, presenting solutions and ensuring alignment with their technical and strategic needs.
• AI/ML and Emerging Technologies:
  • Highlight experience with leveraging AI, data analytics, and other emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve current or future client outcomes.

Vice President of Engineering Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in architecting and delivering cloud-based and mobile solutions for enterprise clients.
• Strong programming expertise with the ability to act as a lead engineer in complex engagements.
• Demonstrated success in managing distributed development teams, especially across U.S. and LATAM regions.
• Expertise in hiring, mentoring, and scaling U.S.-based engineering teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
