Full Stack Engineer, About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Systems Administrator to join Sonatafy full-time. This role focuses on administering the IT department’s operations and systems, with additional responsibility for providing support when needed. You will be responsible for managing onboarding/offboarding, hardware and software assets, MDM, user accounts, and SaaS platforms that keep our distributed teams productive.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and organized. They have a solid IT foundation and can balance administration tasks with occasional hands-on support in a remote-first environment.

Full Stack Engineer Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Architect complete new user-facing features.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Regularly meet with designers and product managers to plan, prioritize and estimate tasks, and influence technical solutions.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Review and provide constructive feedback for code/design.
Architect backend and frontend services in collaboration with the BE team
Participate in daily scrum ceremonies, aligned to East Coast business hours

Full Stack Engineer Mandatory Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
9+ years of experience working as a Fullstack Engineer.
6+ years of experience with React.js and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling.
6+ years of experience in developing backend and frontend systems with Node.js, Express.js, and GraphQL.
Deep understanding of the “behind-the-scenes” of HTML rendering, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Single Page Apps, and server-side vs. client-side rendering.

Full Stack Engineer Nice to Have

Familiarity with CData or similar database connector tools
Knowledge of transitioning Amplify-based applications to containerized/Kubernetes environments
Experience with authentication and security best practices in multi-tenant serverless applications
